twoDINE: Danube
David Bouley's Austrian-inspired Danube in Tribeca is one of the most beautiful restaurants in the city. Designed by Parisian designer Jacques Garcia and New York-based architect Kevin White, the triangular-shaped dining room is lined with lush banquettes, with bold prints by Austrian artist Gustav Klimit hanging on the wall. A separate bar and lounge is the perfect place to have a drink while you're waiting for a table or for your sweetie to arrive.
The menu is a great balance of traditional Austrian cuisine and Bouley's more modern creations. For appetizers, we recommend the Carinthia "Schlutzkrapfen" High Altitude Austrian Cheese Ravioli and the Seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras with Pomegranate. Try something from the seasonal weekly market menu, such as Braised Nantucket Wild Striped Black Bass or Pennsylvania Chicken Breast with Budapest Paprika Sauce. For dessert, share the divine Austrian Chocolate Hazelnut Souffle.

twoDRINK: Brandy Library
If you think a good Scotch or Brandy is only meant for warming you up on a cold winter's night, one visit to the Brandy Library will change all that. Instead of Twain, Faulkner, and Tolstoy, the shelves of this refined, amber-hued den of spirits is lined with the best of Macallan, Cerbois, and Germain Robin. Fall into the sumptuous leather chairs and let expert "spirit sommelier" Ethan Kelley enthusiastically explain the subtle differences between an 18- and 21-year old Scotch, before acscending one of the library ladders to fetch you a taste of the perfect Armagnac.
